As a proud Malaysian, I wanted to create something that brings a little joy to your day, one cup at a time. That’s why I carefully source my coffee beans from Brazil, then roast them right here at home to get a flavor that Malaysians love – something warm and familiar, like a hug in a cup.
I’m designed to fit right in at busy workplaces, hospitals, or cozy little corners where you need a quick pick-me-up. With just a push of a button, my smart, fully automated system delivers coffee that’s fresh and full of flavor, whenever you need it. And don’t worry, I’ve got 24/7 monitoring to make sure I’m always ready to serve you.

WHY OTTER BARISTA?
“Hi, I’m Otter Barista! I came into the world with a simple mission: to make quality coffee more accessible and affordable for everyone. You see, back when I worked in the corporate world, a good cup of coffee was the only way to start my day. But finding that perfect cup was always a challenge – it often meant long waits, high prices, or even worse, paying a premium for coffee that didn’t live up to expectations.”
With a background in the café scene, I knew the two biggest costs behind every cup were manpower and space. And that’s when the idea for Otter Barista was born! By designing a smaller, more efficient machine and using advanced automation, I could cut down on these expenses and pass the savings on to you. Now, you can enjoy quality coffee without breaking the bank or wasting time.
“But what about quality and cleanliness?” you might wonder. Don’t worry – I’ve got that covered! Our coffee beans come from Brazil and India, blended and roasted to create a medium-to-dark roast that perfectly matches Malaysian tastes. Our milk is sourced from New Zealand to give you that creamy, smooth mouthfeel in every sip. And thanks to our dedicated service team, I’m always in top shape! With 24/7 cloud monitoring, I’m refilled and cleaned regularly – at least twice a week – so every cup is as fresh as the first.

As Otter Barista, I’m thrilled to share some recent milestones! Not only did I secure RM250,000 in funding through the MYStartup Accelerator Demo Day (there’s my founder with picture), but I was also honored to be recognized as one of the top 5 startups in the program. This achievement highlights my dedication to delivering Malaysia’s first fully automated, contactless coffee experience, bringing convenience and quality to coffee lovers across the country.
